Throughout my Masters program at Michigan State University, I have had the opportunity to learn through a various websites. Below are a few of my favorite sites that pushed my thinking and helped me make important changes in my teaching.

The IRIS Center for Training Enhancements was created to help inform users of research based strategies to educate students with disabilities. This site has a plethora of information on differing disabilities, motivation, and progress monitoring that can be used in any classroom. Specifically, I used the Star Legacy Modules to explore ways to better my teaching using the five step method: Challenge, Thoughts, Perspectives & Resources, Assessment, and Wrap-Up.

This article, by Hawbaker et al. explains the BASE method for co-planning. It includes a planning pyramid and planning template that is helpful in Professional Learning Communities or classrooms with more than one teacher.
